Description
This is a platinum halo split shank diamond engagment ring with a 1.55 round brilliant cut center diamond, I color, VS1 Clarity, Ideal Cut set in four prongs surrounded by a halo and split sides with 1.0 carat of round brilliant cut smaller diamonds french pave set. The ring measures 11mm round at the halo and the split sides are graduate from 2.5mm to 6mm. The side to side measurement is 22mm meaning the diamonds go east to west 22mm across the finger so it will look like they go all the way around. It sits up on the finger about 7mm. What’s great about this design is you can add a band on either side and it will sit flush – no bump out needed so you have many options.
It is a size 6 1/2 and can be sized up or down 1 size without serious issues. Weighs 8.45 grams. Center stone is certified by EGL USA on report US312186901D and will come with the full report as well as the replacement value listed at over $20,000.  Of course that value is if you were shopping in one of the large chain jewelry stores. The more realistic replacement value should be closer to $15,000.  The center stone is eye clean meaning you can not see any imperfections in it with your eyes – even with a jewelers loupe you can not see anything. It is a very beautiful ring that is well made – we are helping someone sell it because they need money for medical bills.
